Our vision of where God is leading:
Groundwork
80 adult participants, 30 core partners, 8 children workers, 20 leaders,
60 kids, $100k assets, monthly weekend services, cast values/vision
Initiate prelaunch
100 adult participants, 50 core partners, head pastor,
70 kids, $200k assets, start weekend services, initial facility

Long Term Vision:
We envision sharing the good news of Jesus’ message with thousands of unchurched and spiritually restless friends and people in south Denver, and many lives will be changed as they turn to God and purposefully live out their faith.
We envision people developing into fully functioning followers of Jesus through culturally relevant, creative, participatory, and passionate weekend gatherings, small groups, and service. We hope those who have come to know Jesus will continue to seek God personally through prayer and Bible study, supplemented by Bible-based teaching and interactive sharing.
We envision becoming a church of small groups where we model biblical community: a safe place where we give and receive, accept one another and are accepted, love and are loved, encourage and are encouraged, forgive and are forgiven, serve and are served, challenge and are challenged.
We envision worship that is all-encompassing, culturally relevant and drives passionate participation in individual and shared praise of God, as well as in service to others.
We envision helping people discover their specific designs so that they are equipped to serve effectively in some ministry, either within or outside the Church. Our goal is that everyone will exercise their God-given gifts and passions for ministry to others.
We envision developing partners in ministry, rather than simply members. All of us will be challenged to look beyond our personal circumstance, wherever we find ourselves in life, to reach out to those around us: adults raise children, the old guide the young, and the mature coach the new. Similarly, God has designed it so that children will in turn revive God’s perspective in adults, the young will hearten the old, and the new will inspire the mature.
We envision welcoming numerous members into our body who are excited about Jesus, experiencing healing in their relationships, and growing together in love.
We envision supporting missionary efforts through our finances and our people. We foresee recruiting, training, and equipping many of our partners to serve wherever they are passionate...as missionaries, church planters, and church workers in our regional communities as well as all over the world. We see people personally engaging in local/regional mission outreach and pursuing short-term missions in various countries. We envision planting a church every 3 years.
We envision a facility that will accommodate our growth and outreach. However, our growth and outreach will not be limited by the confines of a building or programs. We see the church building as one mechanism by which to facilitate God’s purposes, but that God’s people are God’s church. We anticipate that God will sometimes call us to take risks in faith, as individuals and as a community. We cannot predict all that God will call us to, but we will expectantly seek His direction in faith.
This is our dream and vision about where God is leading us.
General Comments about our Values and Vision
We believe God has prepared us and instilled these initial values. However, we also anticipate that as our church is developed, and we continue to follow, that people of faith will continue to improve upon our initial values and vision.
